Real-time Rendering

The Challenge

Students and educators struggled with complex and unintuitive equation editors that lacked real-time rendering and weren't accessible across different devices.

The Solution

Created a web-based mathematical equation editor using Flutter for the web with real-time LaTeX rendering and responsive design supporting both desktop and mobile views.

The Process

Built the application using the BLoC pattern for efficient state management, implemented LaTeX parsing and rendering, and designed an intuitive interface with features like dynamic bracket sizing.

Results & Impact

Developed a fully functional open-source equation editor with multiple export options (PNG, SVG, EPS), beta image editing capabilities, and features like dynamic bracket sizing, symbol selector, and font size adjustments.

Real-time LaTeX Rendering

See equations as you type with instant formatting

Multiple Export Options

Save equations as PNG, SVG, or EPS formats

Dynamic Bracket Sizing

Automatically adjust bracket sizes based on content

Responsive Design

Works seamlessly on desktop and mobile devices
